Acts 1:8--"Jesus said, You shall receive POWER when the Holy Spirit comes UPON you…." We (John and Sonja) are equipping believers to function in the power and revelation of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit baptism is the first step to operate in the power Jesus promises to all believers. It is much more than speaking in tongues. It is to empower and embolden us to witness, preach, heal the sick, and cast out demons. We need God's power to do that. We remind leaders everywhere that Christians should be doing what Jesus did, including the miracles. He commanded the early disciples not to go anywhere until they had received the power inherent in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This is just as relevant today as we face cultures increasingly hostile to the Lord Jesus Christ. Recently we conducted a mini-seminar on how to receive the power of the Holy Spirit at Westside Church, Bend, Oregon. Fifty hungry believers received the power of the Holy Spirit baptism and released a spiritual language. All of those doing the ministry were trained by John and Sonja at MTC. To receive and minister the Holy Spirit baptism, follow the sequence below. It's all about God's power! Y
