Bend, OR-- Prayer, worshiping in the Spirit, prophecy, words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, healing, baptism of the Holy Spirit, deliverance, food, and fun--all of these and more happen in our Holy Spirit empowered small groups on a weekly basis. The key is obeying the voice of the Holy Spirit and allowing Him to set the agenda every time we gather. 
     We (John and Sonja) are in the process of writing another book under the working title of "Holy Spirit Empowered Small Groups." The book will encourage small group leaders to incorporate the spontaneous manifestations of the Holy Spirit in their cell groups, home groups, and Bible studies.  It will reveal how to create an atmosphere where the Lord is welcomed and His presence is confirmed in authentic manifestations in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Almost every week people are healed, receive words from God, and go home with a true excitement and expectation of what may happen next week.  Then, more people show up next week.  It's a God thing!  The book should be available early in 2005.
