Portland, OR--Portland Foursquare Church hosted a MTC Teacher Intensive on July 9-10.  Leaders from Portland, Sandy, and Gresham, OR, and from Vancouver and Federal Way, WA attended the two-day event.  They were excited to see the new Ministry Training Institute (MTI) materials and practicum sessions. John and Sonja spoke on being marketplace Christians in the Sunday services at Portland Foursquare Church.
     Sandy, Redmond, Sisters, Prineville, OR--Pastor Steve McPherson, senior pastor of City Center Foursquare, Redmond, hosted a MTC Teacher Intensive July 30-31.  Forty pastors and leaders from the above cities were introduced to the new graphics and layouts of the MTI curriculum.  The pastors plan to launch MTIs in the fall at Sandy, Sisters, and Redmond Oregon.  The Bend MTI graduates will assist the other churches by offering help in teaching some of the lessons and reinforcing the practicum sessions.  There is great excitement and anticipation among the churches as they look forward to the "hands-on" nature of the MTIs in Central Oregon  Y
