Ambassadors Commissioned and Sent Out

Bend, OR-- Ken Johnson the senior pastor of Westside Church commissioned fifteen Master's Commission young men and women as ambassadors for Christ to their generation.  Within a week, many of them left on an evangelistic mission trip to the Ukraine in Eastern Europe.  They reported nearly 20,000 people giving their lives to Christ and many miracles manifested at their hands as they proclaimed Jesus as savior, healer, and baptizer in the Holy Spirit.
In another Westside Church MTC graduation, forty more ambassadors were commissioned as they were graduated from the Ministry Training Institute on Memorial day weekend.  Many of these graduates have taken responsible volunteer positions at Westside Church.  All MTI graduates are required to go into the community and attempt to lead people to Christ, lead their fellow Christians into the Holy Spirit baptism, and heal those that are sick.  Just like the Bible says, "They went out and preached everywhere and the Lord worked with them, confirming the Word with signs following. (Mark 16:20)  We are thrilled to witness the transformation of these lives.
