Oahu Believers Hungry for God

Mililani and Kapolei, Oahu, Hawaii --While Sonja was the main speaker at a weekend women's retreat, John was the main speaker at a Saturday multi-church men's brunch.  It quickly became apparent in both gatherings that there was an overwhelming hunger for the presence and power of God.  Sonja was privileged to lead a number of women to Christ and a large number into the Holy Spirit baptism.  John was amazed when about seventy-five men ran to the altar to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. Cell phones were busy relaying what was happening in both locations as husbands and wives conferred with one another.  Great joy came to Oahu as believers worshiped God in their new language.
As Sonja finalized the three-day retreat, John spoke in two Sunday services for
Pastor Tim Greseth at Hope Chapel Mililani.  More people gave their lives to Christ and many were baptized in the Holy Spirit.  John was mightily used by God to pray for an hour and a half after the services for those who were sick or in pain.  Sickness and pain left as God continued to heal.  That week over 20 were saved and about 130 were baptized in the Holy Spirit. Wow, God! Y
