John and Sonja Decker, founders of Christ's Ambassadors International desire to see disciples of Jesus Christ become effective marketplace ministers. Their calling is to provide Christian leaders with training and resources that will transform ordinary disciples into knowledgeable and confident followers of Jesus Christ.  It is their intent to see disciples become bold and faith-filled witnesses for the Lord Jesus Christ as they respond to the Great Commission.  They are accomplishing this through the spread of Ministry Training Centers (Institutes) in the USA and around the globe.  Their DWJD Workshops expose believers to the basic ministry skills that will cause a hunger for them to enroll in a Ministry Training Institute in their own church.  We see this happen on a regular basis.

 

COSTS 

DWJD Workshop

We recommend a number of churches in a district combine their resources and jointly sponsor a Friday night and all day Saturday DWJD Workshop.  Our workshop fee is $1,000 for up to one-hundred attendees or $1,200 for over one-hundred attendees. In addition to the workshop fee, airfare and lodging for two people should be provided by the sponsoring churches.  Each attendee should have access to our Doing What Jesus Did book at $15 each.

 

Teacher Training

In April and September of each year we offer a Train-the-Trainer teacher intensive for any pastor desiring to launch an effective Ministry Training Institute in his or her church. Airfare and lodging are the responsiblity of those attending. Each pastor purchases a Discipleship One training manual and a Doing What Jesus Did book for a total of $65.00. (An optional $10 lunch is available). The two-day teacher training begins on a Sunday evening and concludes on Monday night. All attendees will join with our flagship Ministry Training Institute Monday evening.

 

Speaking

John and Sonja Decker speak and train as a team.  Their schedule of workshops and other commitments require a six-month lead-time to finalize dates for a workshop or other speaking opportunities.  Please call or e-mail our offices for booking a date.

 

AVAILABILITY

John and Sonja Decker may be available to speak at a regular church service when their schedule allows.  A reasonable honorarium would be expected as well as reimbursement for transportation and lodging.
