Leading People to Christ
Each believer in the group prepares a short testimony on how they came to accept Christ into their life. The skill is complete when the person giving his or her testimony invites another person in the group to pray the prayer of repentance and accepts Jesus Christ as his or her Savior. |

Leading Christians into the Holy Spirit BaptismEach believer participates in a role-play where one person interacts with another person who is seeking more confidence to be an effective witness for the Lord. The skill is complete when the seeker is led into the baptism of the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues. |

Learning how to Heal the Sick
Each believer prepares to minister healing to anyone within the group that may be sick or in pain. Each believer is instructed how to give a short witness as to what the Bible says and what he or she personally believes about divine healing, just prior to praying for the sick. |
Hearing from God
Each believer is encouraged to join with others in the group and pray over individuals who are seeking direction and confirmation from God on personal issues. When the Holy Spirit begins to reveal things about the person, they are recorded and shared with the individual. |

Healing the Sick by Revelation
Each believer is given the opportunity to hear from God regarding the root cause of an illness or pain in a person in his or her group. Participants are taught how to rely on the revelation gifts as they minister to the person needing healing. |

Dealing with Demons
Each believer in the group is encouraged to trust in the revelation gifts to correctly discern if there are spirits involved in the person receiving ministry. If spirits are discerned, instruction is given as to the next step a person may take in submitting themselves to a deliverance team so they can be set free. |

( Optional Ministry Skill )
Preaching the Full Gospel
The most vital part of obeying the Great Commission is learning how to preach the full Gospel. Jesus said for us to preach and teach everything He commanded us to do. This optional ministry skill helps believers fulfill the Great Commission. Student ministers are given a choice of three topics from which to preach a ten-minute sermon; God's gift of salvation, the Holy Spirit Baptism, or Healing the Sick. The sermon is delivered in a small-group setting of fellow believers. The sermon is critiqued by MTI leadership and feedback is given to encourage the student ministers.
