Graduation
Graduation requirements:The practicum sessions in all of our Ministry Training Institutes are conducted the same day as the curriculum is being taught. Each ministry skill is practiced for six straight sessions. Each student has ample time to learn and practice each of the six ministry skills over a thirty-six week period. In order to graduate from a MTI (Ministry Training Institute) and receive a Diploma in Practical Ministry, each student must go into the marketplace and make two attempts to Lead People to Christ, two attempts to Lead Christians into the Holy Spirit baptism, and two attempts to Heal the Sick. These outside ministry assignments are in additon to completing the 72 exams required for graduation.
Discipleship One
Volume One
FOUNDATIONS FOR DISCOVERY
DISCOVERING NEW LIFE
These lessons reveal what the Bible says about the foundational beliefs upon which Christians base their faith.
1. God's Gift: This lesson confirms a person's salvation with Jesus Christ by showing what Christians believe and the origin of their faith. Repentance and conversion are discussed.
2. Spiritual Growth: This lesson presents a clear understanding of communion, water baptism, Bible reading, journaling, praying, and giving.
3. Developing Power: This lesson reveals who the Holy Spirit is and how He desires to baptize all Christ's followers in supernatural power. It gives a step-by-step suggested way to lead believers into the Holy Spirit baptism.
4. Discovering Gifts: This gives an introduction as to why God gives gifts to His people so they can serve others. A theology of the person and work of the Holy Spirit is presented.
5. The Church Family: This discusses the ministry and work of the people of God gathered for Kingdom business. The principles of love, acceptance, and forgiveness are revealed.
6. The Mission of the Church: This defines the reasons for establishing a clear vision, calling, and mission for local churches worldwide. It shows the process that leadership can take to establish and stay true to the vision God gives them.
DISCOVERING YOUR MISSION
These six lessons teach Christians how to discover their spiritual gifts and talents to serve in the local church, reach out to the community, and to serve effectively in foreign missions. These lessons reveal how every believer in Jesus Christ has been empowered and commissioned to fulfill an assignment from God. A comprehensive Gift Assessment is included.
7. Your Spiritual Inventory: A Gift Assessment given during this lesson reveals the primary gifts and talents God has placed in the lives of Christians. We learn how to become ministering servants as we give away His gifts to those in need.
8. Releasing Service Gifts: The purpose of this lesson is to explore specific gifts that directly serve mankind: Administration, Craftsmanship, Intercession, Giving, Helps/Service, and Hospitality.
9. Releasing Communication Gifts: This lesson explains how God communicates His strategies through gifts that reveal and speak to us today: Creativity, Tongues, Interpretation of Tongues, Discernment of Spirits, Words of Knowledge and Wisdom, Preaching, and Prophecy.
10. Releasing Pastoral Gifts: This lesson instructs us about Counseling, Encouragement, Leadership, Mercy, Shepherding, and Teaching.
11. Releasing Evangelistic Gifts: This lesson explains about the gifts best released outside the church walls: Apostle, Celibacy, Evangelist, Exorcism, Faith, Healing, Martyrdom, Miraculous Powers, Missionary, and Voluntary Poverty.

Volume Two
DISCIPLINES OF THE DISCIPLE
BIBLE STUDY
These four lessons are designed to motivate followers of Christ in the discipline of reading and meditating in the Word of God. It first reveals the history of how the Bible came into existence. Then it introduces the believer to five different ways of personal study that will bring revelation and understanding for years to come. This series is an excellent sequel to Discipleship One to build on the foundations of their faith.
13. How We Got the Bible: This is a thoughtful explanation of how, when, and through whom the Bible came into existence. It places historical time frames to the origin of the books of the Bible and how they came together.
14. Inductive Bible Study: This lesson presents the time tested, systematic, and practical approach for individuals to study God's Word without dependence on other resources.
15. Topical and Character Studies: This lesson answers the questions of applying the truths of the Bible to our personal lives through a list of topics and examination of key personalities in both the Old and New Testaments.
16. Devotional Study and Journaling: This lesson gives practical insights, ideas, and the importance of spending quality time with God in personal devotions. Learning how to listen to God and journal what He says is vital to a meaningful and lasting relationship with Him.
PRAYER
These four lessons teach Christians how to pray. The lessons are also designed to encourage all followers of Christ to expand their understanding of personal communion with a God who listens to and answers prayer. Many different approaches to prayer are discussed. Each approach emphasizes a different avenue of discipline for effective prayer.
17. Petition and Supplication: This lesson prepares believers to communicate with God with specific and purposeful prayers for our personal needs, expecting Him to answer.
18. Binding, Loosing, and the Prayer of Faith: This is an introduction to spiritual warfare that reveals our authority in Christ to release ourselves and others from spiritual bondage and into the abundant life with Jesus Christ.
19. Intercession and Praise and Worship: This lesson expands our understanding of the importance of interceding for the needs of others. This lesson also introduces the believer to the necessity for unreserved worship and praise to the Lord of lords.
20. The Prayer of Agreement and Fasting: This lesson reveals how to pray in the power of agreement to assure answers to prayer by agreeing with heaven and one another. The discipline of fasting is also discussed, giving the benefits of fasting before doing ministry.
CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
The final four lessons of this series give the pastor or teacher a firm biblical approach for encouraging student ministers to become more like Jesus Christ. Developing our understanding of true righteousness, combined with showing forth the fruit of the Holy Spirit in our relationships, will result in a life filled with the authentic presence of God. These life-changing milestones lead into the true anointing.
21. Righteousness: The importance of Christian character is defined and the awesome concept of living a righteous and holy life is discussed.
22. Fruit of the Holy Spirit: The nine fruits of the Spirit are discussed and how we can judge ourselves in how much we are becoming like Christ using the fruit as our bench mark.

Discipleship Two
OLD TESTAMENT STUDY
This is an easy-to-teach Bible survey complete with time lines and chronological charts. These lessons provide a quick but thorough overview of the message of the authors and history of the Old Testament. This is an excellent study for anyone searching to understand the Old Testament for the first time.
25. Introduction to the Old Testament: An overview of the thirty-nine books of the Old Testament, their arrangement, the authors, and dates. Charts and time lines are included.
26. The Law: Introduction and overview of the Pentateuch or Torah, describing the first five books of the Old Testament: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.

These six lessons are designed to teach believers the importance of striving for healthy relationships, especially at home. 43. Worship Together: This lesson teaches that the primary purpose of mankind is to worship God. The importance and nature of true worship that transforms, both for the individual and the church as a whole is discussed.
44. Pray Together: This lesson explores how we can effectively pray together and see the mighty hand of God move on our behalf and for the furtherance of His Kingdom.
45. Serve Together: The theme of this lesson is that Jesus Christ came to serve, not to be served. We are challenged to primarily serve God, each other, and the world in which we live. We need to prioritize our service to God, our family, our church, and the community.
46. Give Together: The theme of this lesson is that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Just giving of our money is not enough. Giving of ourselves, our resources, and our talents is our mission. Tithing is Biblical and shows proper stewardship of all that God has entrusted to us.
47. Learn Together: Jesus left us with the command to teach everything He taught the disciples. It is possible to offer year-round, accelerated discipleship training in our churches by the use of small groups and extra classes at church. Learning is a life-long process.
48. Reach Out Together: This lesson teaches that a church whose goal is to win the lost will always have favor with God. The Great Commission is every Christian's responsibility. Reaching out in love and power can be achieved by a multiple evangelistic strategy beginning with the Sunday service.
Discipleship Three
Volume One
KINGDOM LIVING
LIVING IN CHRIST
This is advanced training for those desiring to operate in the realm of the supernatural. The lessons start with understanding our spiritual authority and gradually move into experiencing miracles, as the Holy Spirit directs. It is advisable to complete Discipleship One and Two before attempting to implement the principles found in these lessons. This is excellent training not only for lay ministers and small group leaders but also for evangelists, missionaries, and those preparing to minister in foreign countries.
49. Authority of the Believer: Adam lost man’s authority to rule over all the earth and to have dominion over the devil. Jesus came to restore man’s rule and dominion. The believer in Jesus Christ now has authority to defeat the dominion of darkness and has the keys to victorious living and the abundant life. This lesson shows how to appropriate this authority to live a life designed by God.
50. Keys to Kingdom Living: Understanding and acting on the spiritual promises given to those in Christ provide the avenue to the abundant life. The keys of the Kingdom are the many spiritual principles and precepts set in motion by God as revealed in Jesus Christ. This lesson presents how to apply these keys to our lives.
51. The Shield of Faith: This lesson shows how to use the shield of faith as a defensive weapon to enter into victorious spiritual warfare. The Bible says we should exercise our faith in the promises of the Word to defeat the lies, accusations, and the distortions that come against the knowledge of God.
52. The Marketplace Believer: Jesus commissioned all believers to go into their part of the world and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ. All believers have been given the ministry of reconciliation. This lesson shows how to pray and prepare ourselves to engage in effective personal evangelism that really works.
53. Spiritual Warfare: Spiritual warfare cannot be avoided. This lesson presents the true meaning and scope of what believers can expect when they encounter the spiritual enemies of the Lord Jesus Christ. The devil does not want anyone to know what the Bible declares about him already being defeated and the believer being able to demolish his strongholds.
54. Doing the Stuff: This lesson presents a very practical and condensed version of doing the “hands on” ministry skills that Jesus commanded His disciples to do. These are: leading people to Christ, leading Christians into the Holy Spirit baptism, healing the sick, raising the dead, cleansing the lepers, casting out demons, and speaking prophetically.
THE SPIRIT-LED LIFE
These six lessons are designed to train believers how to cooperate fully with the Holy Spirit. Upon completion, the student minister can expect to be led by the Holy Spirit into situations of ministry involving the supernatural demonstrations of the power of the Holy Spirit. This is excellent training for believers desiring a biblical approach for healing the sick and understanding how to properly deal with evil spirits.
55. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit: This lesson presents a clear scriptural foundation for this gift Jesus promised His followers. It discusses the personal benefits, all the biblical references, how to enter into the experience, and how to lead Christians into the Holy Spirit baptism.
56. The Ministry of the Holy Spirit: This lesson gives the believer an overview of what the Holy Spirit can accomplish through those who are obedient to His will and purpose. It concentrates on the more obvious workings and manifestations of the Holy Spirit in today's contemporary church. He desires to do the same things today as He did in the book of Acts.
57. Obeying the Inner Voice: This lesson discusses progressive ways the Holy Spirit leads those who are followers of Christ. One of the most obvious ways is the daily coaxing and nudging He gives to keep us away from sin and remind us of what the Bible says. It is profound and of great comfort to have the Holy Spirit truly lead us on a daily basis.
58. Obeying the Holy Spirit: When the Holy Spirit directly speaks to us, we should obey. Learning to clearly hear His voice is a major challenge to growing Christians. This lesson holds great promise for those trying to hear and obey the Holy Spirit. He is still speaking exactly how He did as recorded in the Bible. 59. Operating in Revelation Gifts: This lesson is intended to encourage believers to release the revelation gifts of the word of knowledge, the word of wisdom, and the discerning of spirits. Volume Two
EQUIPPED FOR LEADERSHIP
THE CALL TO MINISTRY
These six lessons are the final teaching for preparing ministers to enter fruitful ministry. First, we must find out if we are really called to ministry. Next, we are to determine in which area of the equipping ministry we are to function in and how to train for it. The mark of true leaders is their ability to mentor others within the proper scheme of biblical authority. This is excellent preparation for those interested in church planting.
61. Who's Calling: Without a direct call from God to full-time ministry, ministers can be disappointed and disenchanted with the results of their efforts. This lesson explains how to discern between being called by God and being called by man. It explains the process by which God calls people into full-time ministry.
62. The Five Functions: Only God calls men and women into the ministries of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, or teacher. How we train for and function in these equipping ministries depends on which calling God selects for us. This lesson details the specifics of each of the five functions and how they are to disciple the Body of Christ for reproductive ministry.
63. The Preparation: What training is necessary to function as a reproducing disciple for the Lord Jesus? We should strive for a balance of the academic and the practical. Lectures without hands-on practicum produce fruitless head knowledge. To prepare to function in an equipping ministry requires counting the cost of years of practical experience that can then be reproduced in others
64. What's a Leader: The standards to effectively lead the church of Jesus Christ are high. This lesson presents leadership as a gift from God. However, Godly character and anointing come after years of being tested and found proven in many areas of personal discipline. People are safe to follow a person with vision and proven integrity.
65. The Art of Mentoring: Jesus was the perfect mentor. He took twelve unlikely men, mentored them for three years, and then entrusted the spreading of the Gospel to eleven of them after His death. This lesson rediscovers how disciples are shaped for effective ministry. By personally working with disciples until they can do everything you can do is the most effective way of making fully devoted disciples for Christ. Let us do it the way Jesus did it.
66. Biblical Authority: When we come into right relationship with God and each other, we establish the true foundation for biblical authority. To understand and apply delegated authority that is established in God’s Word, we must come into one accord with God. Our relationships with church leadership will then reap the fruit of harmonious productivity for the Kingdom.
CHURCH ADMINISTRATION
The final six lessons are designed to equip potential pastors and leaders with the basic understanding of church administration. Anyone aspiring to the leadership of a church must grasp the importance of establishing an authentic mission statement that will succeed within their established church government. Leaders must learn how to avoid the pitfalls of handling finances improperly and/or hiring incompetent staff. These lessons reveal how to achieve harmonious relationships among the church staff through biblical leadership.
67. The Mission Statement: Leadership must receive from God the mission He has established to reach a given community for Christ. Once established, this becomes the primary thrust for how that congregation reaches the community. This lesson shows the benefits, responsibilities, and importance of the mission statement as the foundation for what is being done.
68. Church Government: There are many types of governing bodies within churches worldwide. How church leadership conducts business depends on the type of governmental structure selected. This lesson discusses Episcopal, Presbyterian, and Congregational styles of church government. The pros and cons of each are examined.
69. Church Finances: Biblical stewardship of how God’s money should be collected, accounted for, and dispersed is a serious responsibility for church leadership. Teaching covers tithes, alms, and offerings with warnings about instituting safeguards of tight accountability. Preparing budgets and fundraising are also discussed.
70. Corporate Concerns: Church leadership must maintain a firm balance between the frictions caused by the mission statement, interaction with the community, and dealing with personnel problems. We label this as the cause, community, and corporate issues of running a well-balanced church. Each area must be managed with wisdom and decisiveness in order to achieve healthy church growth.
71. Building a Staff: A successful church is measured by the cooperative effort of leaders and staff working in harmony to achieve the cause and mission. This lesson attempts to answer the many challenges inherent with adding reliable workers to achieve this mission. It requires everyone being trained to fulfill separate goals that lead to achieving the master plan initiated by the Lord.
72. Leadership Training: Leaders train leaders. The progressive nature of building leaders for tomorrow’s church is the challenge for the five equipping functions called to equip the next generation of leaders. Each requires different training and expertise. Taking disciples through basic training and then on to leadership requires years of tedious mentoring. The reward comes when we see the apprentices doing everything their leaders did.
