John and Sonja Decker founded Christ’s Ambassadors International (CAI) to provide the body of Christ with biblical training methods and materials so that any believer might start Doing What Jesus Did. CAI is the publisher of the Ambassador Series and Doing What Jesus Did, the curriculum used in the Ministry Training Institutes. John and Sonja normally schedule speaking engagements by referral from satisfied pastors and leaders. Attend a DWJD Workshop and Teacher Intensive
DWJD Workshops ONE and TWO introduce pastors, leaders and congregations to a very effective and confident way to train disciples to do “hands-on”, one-on-one marketplace ministry. During Workshop ONE three ministry skills are demonstrated, role-played and practiced in a ten-hour, weekend format. The skills are: leading people to Christ; leading Christians into the Holy Spirit baptism; and learning how to heal the sick. In the additional ten-hour Workshop TWO, disciples learn how to: hear God’s voice; heal the sick by revelation; and how to deal with demons.
For pastors and teachers only*, an additional four-hour Teacher Intensive is conducted during the same weekend. Teachers and pastors learn how to conduct, oversee, and administrate a thirty-six week Ministry Training Institute (MTI). Pastors and teachers are introduced to the Ambassador Series curriculum, shown how to best teach it, and how to conduct the exciting “hands-on” practicum sessions. Books, training manuals and audio CDs for teachers are made available during the Teacher Intensive. See Costs of a Regional Teacher Intensive.
Establish a Ministry Training Institute
Once pastors and teachers have completed Workshop ONE and TWO and the Teacher Intensive, they have all the tools necessary to launch their own fully independent MTI in their local church. The Ambassador Series is presented in three progressive, twelve-week tracts that coincide with the September through May school year.
