Jerusalem, Israel —Pastor Jack Hayford kicked off the 2007 Convention for the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel in Jerusalem, July 22-25. We were very privileged to be delegates representing Westside Church, Bend. Three thousand pastors and leaders from all over the world attended the four-day, Holy Spirit-filled gathering of the Saints honoring the Lord Jesus Christ. It was by far the most super-charged, free-flowing, and well orchestrated convention we have ever attended. The business sessions were delightfully blended into the normal course of festivities.
Much time was given to worshiping the Father in Spirit and in truth by prolonged singing in our spiritual languages which prompted the release of the prophetic word throughout the auditorium. The speakers were from the Middle East and brought fresh and very informative perspectives on how we can carefully evangelize the Jews and the Muslims. ♥
