Idaho Believers Ready for the Marketplace

Meridian, Idaho—Pastors Gordon and Jodi Slyter, Pleasant Valley Worship Center, Meridian, Idaho invited us to conduct our DWJD Workshop One, June 1-3. This was a division-wide workshop for the Foursquare Churches in that area. Thirty-five enthusiastic leaders and pastors learned the DWJD ministry skills of leading people to Christ, into the Holy Spirit baptism, and healing the sick. We thank Mark and Stephanie Carmichael from the Bend, OR MTI who assisted us during the three role-play sessions.
The Holy Spirit surprised everyone by dramatically healing a lady during the “How to Heal the Sick” practicum session. The Lord used a man who had never prayed for the sick to pray for the lady who was instantly healed. We used this as an opportunity to proclaim that anyone who believes in Jesus Christ can do what He did. Pastor Slyter said, “This was just what we needed for the Christians in this area.”

The young ministering to the older folks is a welcomed sight during the hands-on sessions.

Hearing from God happened for real as the leaders “practiced” hearing the voice of the Lord
