Missionaries Need the Power of the Holy Spirit

Federal Way, WA— Before we can lead our disciples into the power of the Holy Spirit baptism, we need to be sure we have experienced the full expression and power of the Holy Spirit ourselves. Twelve missionaries came forward to make sure they were fully empowered to answer the call to go into all the world. We had them practice healing the sick using the bible and testimony to create faith for healing. As usual, people began to get healed by the power of God as they “practiced” this basic ministry skill. Afterward, we invited those who actually got healed to testify. Aches, pains, bad backs, and various internal problems were healed. We heard some say, “They make it so simple. Any believer can heal the sick!”
The practicum on learning how to hear God’s voice was an eye-opener for many of the missionaries. By exercising our spiritual language on purpose and then listening to what comes into our mind, is one way to connect with the Holy Spirit. The exciting part is sharing what we hear with the person for whom it was intended. We witnessed many who now know for sure they are hearing from God, when the person they prayed for said, “Only God and I knew that! That’s God!” ♥

It takes practice and some successes to lead a fellow Christian into the Holy Spirit baptism.

We learn how to heal the sick by doing it with others until we see results.

Many came back and testified of being healed as they “practiced” healing the sick.

Learning how to hear God’s voice takes a lot of practice. God spoke to this man’s heart.

It is comforting to ask for prayer and have the Holy Spirit confirm what God is asking from us.
