Missionaries Equipped for the Harvest

Federal Way, WA—April 25 to May 2. We were invited to equip fifty Foursquare Missionaries with the six, hands-on ministry skills from our book, Doing What Jesus Did. The eight-day FMI Regional Pre-Field Intensive Training was hosted by Pastors Steve and Mary Schell at Northwest Church. The training was led by Johnell Loop, assisted by George Cline, Tom Hinton, Kurt Fuller, and Gary Loop. Jonathan Hall, the new FMI Director, joined us the last day.
The training was definitely intensive, going from 8 AM to 6 PM for the eight days straight. The training is required for all Foursquare missionaries being deployed for six months or more. We demonstrated how to train disciples for personal evangelistic ministry by having them practice leading people to Christ, into the Holy Spirit baptism, healing the sick, hearing God’s voice, healing by revelation, and dealing with demons. Everyone enjoyed being equipped. ♥

Frank and Kathy Greer, ten-year missionaries to Papua New Guinea, were primary instructors.

We started the practicum groups with testimonies that could be used to lead people to Christ.

Each missionary was given seven minutes to role-play leading someone to Christ.
