Pastors Get Serious about Releasing the Supernatural

Decatur, IlThe Downstate Illinois District of Foursquare churches is experiencing a shift of focus. No longer are they satisfied with “Sundays as usual.” There is an obvious hunger to have the Holy Spirit truly manifest more freely in and around the weekly services. However, they want to avoid the “weird” and move into authentic and radical services that will attract the emerging generation of young people. This seemed to be the heart cry of many of the pastors.   So, how do we move into this? We suggest concentrating on training the younger generations to expect and experience the authentic and spontaneous manifestations of the Holy Spirit. Young leaders can be trained to discern when the Holy Spirit is shifting a gathering into another dimension of worship, praise, and anointing and move with what God is doing. This is the bottom line of what Ministry Training Centers is all about. Our training starts with the basics of the Christian life and ends with leadership principles that release the supernatural power of God. Authenticity and accuracy in learning how to obey the Holy Spirit are built into everything we do. We have part of the answer and are praying to receive more. ♥
