Downstate Illinois District Refreshed in Ministry

Decatur, IL—Pastors David and Lori Catron, District Supervisors for the Downstate Illinois District of Foursquare churches invited us to conduct a DWJD Workshop One at Life Foursquare Church March 23-24-25. Over seventy pastors and leaders, coming from hundreds of miles, truly were blessed as they experienced a fresh approach to training their leaders in how to accomplish effective Holy Spirit ministry.   We were so blessed to conduct our workshop in their brand new facility on eighty acres on the edge of the fertile farmlands of Decatur. With Spring in the air the pastors and leaders practiced three marketplace ministry skills that they took back to their congregations. They practiced the personal ministry skills of leading a person to Christ, into the power of the Holy Spirit baptism, and healing the sick. There was a lot of laughter and applause when a leader jokingly announced that, “Now I know for sure my pastor is finally saved!”

Pastors David and Lori Catron were so gracious in their care for us and hosting the DWJD Workshop.

Seventy pastors and leaders from the Downstate Illinois District loved doing Holy Spirit ministry.

Practicing leading another to Christ was a cinch for senior pastors and their spouses.

Pastor Lori really got into practicing the ministry of leading her friend into the Holy Spirit baptism.

Confidence in leading believers into the power of the Holy Spirit comes by sticking to the Word.
