Playa del Carmen, Mexico— It only takes one day of hanging with Ron and Donna Griggs to discover why their church is growing. They believe in the power of the Holy Spirit manifesting in and around everywhere they go. They apologized for being late for an appointment with us because they were casting out demons. When we first arrived during their Sunday night service, they called us up front saying, “Do whatever the Holy Spirit reveals.” Immediately John discerned a woman in the congregation with intense pain in her ankle, called her out, commanded the pain to go, and she was instantly healed on the spot. That set in motion a series of instant healings when Sonja, Pastor Ron, and John prayed for the others who came forward. One of the women in the congregation had a pre-Christian friend at work from Poland who had serious pain in her back and down her leg. After prayer she was pain free and then received Jesus as her Savior. Every service the Griggs preach what Jesus preached; eternal life, healing, and deliverance. Their new “house church” meets on the other end of town. They also have signs, wonders, and miracles happen every week. Wow—just like the book of Acts! Y
