MTI Launched in Playa del Carmen, Mexico

Playa del Carmen, MexicoFebruary 26, 2008 was the start of Discipleship One of the first MTI in Mexico! The Ambassador Series and the accompanying ministry skill practicums was received with much rejoicing and enthusiasm. Pastors Ron and Donna Griggs missionaries from the Bend, Oregon area have wanted to have a MTI for years. Their vision has come to pass! Twenty English-speaking disciples crammed into the Griggs’ tiny living room and listened as we taught the first four lessons of the Ambassador Series and helped conduct the practicums on Leading People to Christ.
Seth Brown, another missionary from Bend, led the worship; will oversee the MTI administrative duties; and help teach the curriculum. The Griggs have been conducting prayer meetings where their disciples have been learning how to pray prophetically. The practicum sessions revealed that most of the disciples already knew what to do when it came to praying for the needs of their friends. Pastors Ron and Donna are inviting pastors and staff teachers who have graduated from our MTI training to come to this beautiful coastal city and help teach the curriculum. Contact our offices for details. ♥

We taught the first four lessons of the MTI from the doorway into their dining room.

The practicum, Leading People to Christ, finishes with prayer for those who demonstrated the skill.
