Bend, OR—Pastor Cal Rychener and six of his senior staff from Northwoods Community Church in Peoria, Illinois, attended our Holy Spirit Empowered Small Group Workshop and our two-day Teacher’s Intensive, January 6 through 8. We conducted our normal two-hour small group during the morning, prior to their return to Peoria. They witnessed Holy Spirit worship, prophecy, words of knowledge, and the release of divine healing.
Northwoods Community Church is growing rapidly with about four thousand believers in attendance. They belong to the Willow Creek Association and consider themselves “New Testament” Evangelicals. They are searching for ways to introduce the fullness of the Holy Spirit into the life of the church. The Holy Spirit Empowered Small Groups are a possible avenue to this end. They were very thankful for experiencing the Lord in a safe and authentic environment. ♥
