CLC Encounter

Wild Horse Canyon, OR—Pastors Jay Smith and Bo Stern from the Westside Church Cascade Life Commission conducted a three-day encounter for about thirty young people ages eighteen to twenty-five. We helped pray over them.
The encounter is a three-day, intense exposure to the realities of dedicating one’s self 100% to Jesus Christ. It is during an encounter that young people truly discover the price they will have to pay to be a full-time disciple for Jesus. Those that survive the encounter are then ready to take on the nine-month CLC “boot camp” for the Lord.

Sonja Preaches

Bend, OR— Pastor Ken Johnson, senior pastor of Westside Church, invited Sonja to preach in all four weekend services on May 13-14, and three Sunday morning services on August 13, 2006
In May, Sonja preached on the theme surrounding the benefits of hearing God’s voice and how we can we can live our lives by hearing from the Holy Spirit. The theme for the August 13 message centered on how families can win the race of love and togetherness if they work in harmony relying on the word of God.

Strong, personalized worship is a non-negotiable as we pursue being 100% dedicated to Jesus.

Every service is covered in prayer, not only for the speakers, but for the worship team as well.

Spirit-led prayer is a must for those making a “bridge burning” decision to follow Jesus.

The theme of the August 13 message was how families can win by relying on God’s word.
