Albany—Prineville—Redmond—Sandy, OR From the very start of the Ministry Training Center Institutes dating back to 1996, hearing God’s voice and training believers to speak prophetically has been a high priority. For many of the MTIs in the USA, graduation is culminated with the tradition of student ministers being prophesied over. Originally John and Sonja and a few trusted prophetic individuals would conduct the “prophetic night” followed up with a lively graduation ceremony. Now, there are so many MTI graduates that are hearing God’s voice and speaking prophetically that John and Sonja are arranging teams from Bend to prophesy over other MTI graduating classes. The guidelines requiring biblical confirmation of prophetic words are stressed and maintained.
As the MTI network expands, we can expect God to demonstrate His presence through the many manifestations of the Holy Spirit. The wonderful thing about this whole concept is that there are no superstars. There are simply Spirit-filled believers who have been released and encouraged to cooperate fully with the Holy Spirit and obey what He says to do.
