Van Nuys, CA — Pastors Jim and Alice Tolle invited us to speak at the mid-week service at Church On The Way on June 15 to introduce our book Doing What Jesus Did. They chose our book as the featured ministry training resource for their annual summer reading program.
We felt honored and humbled to not only have our book be the center of study for the whole church but to be asked to speak at this wonderful church was a privilege beyond our imagination. The prophecy given years ago of our being launched into ministry would be like riding on a rocket ship into outer space. Well, the booster rocket just kicked in! The church ordered 1,200 copies of DWJD.
Pastor Jim Tolle personally gave us a tour of TCOTW facilities and allowed us to sit in on Pastor Jack Hayford’s School of Pastoral Nurture. We will never forget this.
