Portland Foursquare DWJD Workshop ONE
Portland, OR— Pastor Larry Spousta, senior pastor of Portland Foursquare Church sponsored a DWJD Workshop ONE, May 20-21 for the Columbia District. Pastor Sunnie Poletiek organized the event with forty-five pastors and leaders attending. The response was exciting, and the ministry skill training was regarded as extremely helpful. Our office administrator, Gloria Hoffman and her husband Ray helped with registration and participated in the three practicum sessions. Our “twenty-somethings” Chris and Jenni Spedick, MTC graduates, each led and facilitated a practicum group.
Friday night we practiced leading each other to Christ. The marketplace testimonies were unique to each person and brought tears to many of us. Saturday morning we practiced leading each other into the Holy Spirit baptism. A dozen people were released into the power of the Holy Spirit and secured a fresh testimony for the role-play portion of the training. John demonstrated how to get people healed in the afternoon session. As a result, faith was increased, and the Lord Jesus began to heal many in the “practice” sessions. Pastor Sunnie is planning on a DWJD Workshop TWO later this year.
