Holy Spirit Comes Upon
SouthPoint Foursquare

Fresno, CA—Pastor Keith Jizmejian, senior pastor of SouthPoint Foursquare Church, invited John and Sonja to preach on the baptism of the Holy Spirit on Sunday, March 26. We had just finished a two-day training seminar at Valley Christian Center across town. SouthPoint Foursquare had just celebrated their grand opening dedication the week before.
We got very excited when Pastor Keith Jizmejian encouraged us to speak on the Holy Spirit baptism. We felt there would be a very large response and recommended the leadership brace themselves for what the Holy Spirit may want to do. Sure enough, after both of us spoke on the topic, “There is More” namely, the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives, the altar was immediately filled with people. It was estimated about forty believers prayed to confirm the release of the baptism of power in their life. John prayed for six first-timers while Sonja ministered to the others who did not have a satisfactory experience with the Holy Spirit. What a joy to experience believers discovering the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit in their lives. With hands uplifted and tears flowing, each had their own personal pentecost just like in Acts 2:4. Praise God!
