Valley School of Ministry Hears from God

Fresno, CA—Dr. John L. Amstutz, director of the Central Valley School of Ministry, hosted John and Sonja for an afternoon of Hearing from God March 25. We taught on the vital need to be hearing from the Holy Spirit not only for personal direction but during prayer ministry to others.
The mission of the school is to equip and empower believers called to serve the local church, establish new churches, serve cross-culturally, and develop workplace ministry. There are about twenty ministers enrolled in the school.
The ministers were divided into three practicum groups with the assignment to hear directly from the Holy Spirit regarding unspoken personal issues within the group. God was amazing! He revealed and confirmed things only known to the person in the “hot seat.” We encouraged the ministers to continue setting up similar small group ministry situations that would allow the Holy Spirit to speak spontaneously.

Dr. John Amstutz addressing the student ministers at the Valley School of Ministry, Fresno, CA.

This practicum group clearly heard what the Lord had in store for the future of this woman.

This group heard God’s voice concerning the
solution to this man’s personal issue.

John encouraged the student ministers to seek intimacy with God until they hear His voice.

The Holy Spirit revealed the healing this man needed through words of knowledge.
