Hawaii Pastors Experience DWJD Workshop

Kaneohe, HawaiiRalph Moore, the Mid-Pacific District Supervisor, hosted a four-day Doing What Jesus Did Workshop, April 12-16 for all the Foursquare pastors and leaders in Hawaii. It was the largest workshop conducted in the history of our ministry. Two hundred and eighty pastors and leaders were equipped to function in and teach others how to function in four ministry skills: leading people to Christ, into the Holy Spirit baptism, healing the sick, and hearing God’s voice. We divided everyone into small groups so they could personally experience and practice each ministry skill.
Tears flowed, laughter erupted, hands were laid on, and needs were met as each person shared their stories, prayed for the others, and then received ministry from the group. During our teaching session on the Holy Spirit, we were overwhelmed when at least one-hundred and twenty came forward and were released into the Holy Spirit baptism. Healings also began to happen all over the campus as they “practiced” healing the sick. At the final session, testimony after testimony was given by individuals who were healed, prophesied over, delivered from bondages, and confident to now do what Jesus did.

John and Sonja demonstrated how to do
the various ministry skill role-plays.

The 280 leaders divided into small groups to
experience how to function in the ministry skills.

The pastors truly enjoyed themselves in the many small group ministry skill role-plays.

Over 120 were estimated to have been
released into the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

This group functioned in healing the sick with the
man actually receiving his healing.

This woman suffered from pain and was completely healed during the “practice” session.
