Mollala, OR—Pastor Lowell Weare, senior pastor of Living Way Fellowship, Sandy, Oregon invited John to be the speaker for the Men’s Advance March 10-11-12. The advance was held at the Mollala Retreat Center next to the beautiful Mollala river.
The theme for the weekend was “Called to Freedom.” John encouraged the men to step into the freedom that is provided for all of us in Christ. The freedom to live the abundant life comes through obedience to His commands, pressing into the promises of the Word, walking in the Spirit, and putting to death the works of the flesh.
The men enjoyed outdoor activities of trout fishing, archery lessons for big game, and conducting a geo-cashing treasure hunt using our hand-held GPS units. The advance was a lot of fun and gave the men a chance for great fellowship and spending time with the Lord in a beautiful setting.
