Youth learn about spirits

Wild Horse Canyon, OregonPastors Steve and Bo Stern, Westside Church, invited John and Sonja to speak at the winter youth retreat March 5. They explained how spirits can attach themselves to disobedient Christians. Willful sin if repeated over and over without repentance could result in a demonic spirit taking up residence in our thinking and cause compulsive behavior that ultimately tries to destroy us. The only way to become free is to submit to mature leaders who are knowledgeable and effective in conducting deliverance in the name of Jesus Christ.

We need the Holy Spirit

Bend, Oregon— Sonja taught at Westside Church March 23 on how Christians need to get in step with the Holy Spirit. She contributed to a series of teachings called “Church 201” by emphasizing the need for every Christian to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. This deeper experience with the Holy Spirit enables believers to hear and respond to God’s direction and encourages a more powerful witness to the pre-Christian. Praying and worshiping in tongues is a powerful personal benefit only available through this intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit.

The worship was wild at Wild Horse as the youth fervently gave God all the praise and glory.

An exciting testimony was given on how the Holy Spirit had radically changed this person’s life.
