River of Life Conducts DWJD Workshop
Galt, California— Pastors Larry and Deanne Brand, from the River of Life Celebration Center invited us to conducted a two-day Doing What Jesus Did Workshop, January 29-30. Twenty-seven leaders and interns got excited about practicing the three ministry skills of leading people to Christ, leading Christians into the Holy Spirit baptism, and healing the sick. The role-playing resulted in people actually being baptized in the Holy Spirit and others receiving instant healings.
Friday night we taught an easy way to lead people to Christ. We then broke into groups of six and role-played leading each other to Christ using our marketplace testimony. Saturday morning we taught on how to lead Christians into the Holy Spirit baptism. Sonja gave an invitation for those desiring to be filled with the Spirit and five responded and released their spiritual languages. We again broke into small groups and role-played this vital ministry skill.
Saturday afternoon we taught the importance of learning how to heal the sick as a valuable evangelistic tool for the marketplace. We practiced the skill and then prayed for those needing healing. God healed a number of them! Y
